Wendy Evans has over twenty-five years experience in the retail and wholesale sectors as an operating executive, consultant and author. Wendy brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to selected Cambridge clients in these sectors, and was a member of the Cambridge team on the recently completed sale of Thrifty Foods to Sobeys. Through her own consulting firm she has advised major companies including Dupont, Loblaws, Royal Bank, CIBC, Home Depot, Molsons, Federated Department Stores, Saks, Bass Pro and others.
Wendy has dealt extensively with cross-border retail issues, was co-author of “Border Crossings” published by Prentice-Hall and author of numerous industry studies including “European Retailers in the North American Market”, “Top of the E-Class” and “Foreign Retailers in Canada”. She serves on the board of Sun Life Financial and North West Company Fund and is active in community affairs, including the Corporate Cabinet of the Conservation Foundation, and the Granite Club, as Chair.
Wendy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Trent University.
